Jika $ \alpha = -\frac{5\pi}{12} $ , maka ....

*). Rumus sudut rangkap :

$ \cos ^2 x - \sin ^2 x = \cos 2x $

*). Menentukan beberapa nilai :

(-\frac{5\pi}{12}) = \cos 150^\circ = -\frac{1}{2}\sqrt{3} \\ \sin 2 \alpha & = \sin 2 .(- \frac{5\pi}{12}) = -\sin 150^\circ = -\frac{1}{2} \\ (\sin ^2 \alpha - \cos ^2 \alpha) & = -(\cos ^2 \alpha - \sin ^2 \alpha) \\ & = -\cos 2 \alpha = - (-\frac{1}{2}\sqrt{3} ) = \frac{1}{2}\sqrt{3} \\ \sin \alpha \cos \alpha & = \frac{1}{2} \sin 2\alpha = \frac{1}{2} .
